Share-Net Netherlands: Upcoming Events

Share-Net Netherlands, the Knowledge platform on SRHR and HIV is organizing two interesting events in the coming two months. EuroNGOs members are very welcome to attend! Registration is required and free of charge.

Expert Meeting: Making inclusion work! Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and Disability

On the 23rd of November, The Dutch Coalition on Disability and Development (DCDD) and Share-Net Netherlands are co-hosting an event to link Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and Disability.

This expert meeting is organized as part of a two-day working visit by Catalina Devandas Aguilar, special UN rapporteur for the Rights of People with Disabilities. Ms. Devandas will hold the opening key note speech, followed by a speech by  a representative from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs (To be confirmed).

Expert Meeting: Child Marriage Exploring Choice and Agency

On the 12th of December, Girls Not Brides (GNB) Netherlands and Share-Net Netherlands jointly organize an expert meeting, where researchers share the outcomes of the child marriage alliance baseline studies in Asia and Africa, with a focus on choice and agency.

This meeting provides an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to meet, exchange and dive deeper into the nuances of the underlying factors of child marriage. The researchers will present the latest research, showcasing new perspectives on child marriage and its drivers.
