We keep growing with two new members

We are happy to inform you that the International Planned Parenthood Federation European Network (IPPF EN) and the Serbian Association for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Association (SRH Serbia) have recently joined our network. Furthermore, the Steering Committee welcomed two new members ad interim: Daniela Draghici (SECS, Romania) and Caroline Hickson (IPPF EN).

We are proud to have a long-standing relationship with IPPF EN. Since January 2018 and following on the EuroNGOs’ transition into a SRHR partnership, its status evolved from observer to member organisation. IPPF EN also continues to host our secretariat in Brussels and serve as our fiscal agent. We are happy to continue our relationship with IPPF EN and welcome them as our member.

With SRH Serbia on board, we are excited to expand our geographical scope of work. We’ve already had a chance to collaborate together during the workshop on SRHR in humanitarian settings in November 2017. During our workshop, Dragana Stojanovic, Executive Director of SRH, provided a very interesting presentation on the current situation in Serbia in relation to the so-called “refugee crisis” and the impact of the EU-Turkey Agreement in the Balkan region that aims to stop refugees from entering into Europe.

EuroNGOs now represents the voice of 37 European organisations working on sexual and reproductive health and rights at national, European and global level.
