To join EuroNGOs, your organization must be:
- based in a European country, as defined by the Council of Europe (see list of Member States here)
- legally registered
- a not-for-profit organization
All EuroNGOs members must sign the Members’ Charter, confirming that they agree with the vision, values, mission and goals of EuroNGOs and that they will perform as a EuroNGOs member in the agreed ways.
There are two categories of membership: associate members and full members. The first category is open exclusively to parliamentary groups with an independent identity and decision-making capacity, and networks of civil society organizations. Only full members may participate in the governance of the network, elect the Steering Committee, provide representatives to serve on the Steering Committee, and change the network’s governing instruments.
