As a member-led network, the EuroNGOs supreme governing body is the Annual General Meeting (AGM), which is a deliberative meeting of member organizations held each calendar year, usually organized back to back with EuroNGOs annual international conferences.
The 2016 AGM took place in Paris, France on the 3rd of October.
Between AGMs, EuroNGOs members delegate a Steering Committee to govern the network. This is the principal body for decision-making and governance during the year. It is accountable to the AGM, for ensuring the sound legal, financial and strategic functioning of the network. UNFPA Brussels office and the International Planned Parenthood Federation European Network (IPPF EN) are observers.
The day-to-day management of activities and the overall coordination of the network are in the hands of a small and dedicated Secretariat. The Secretariat is based in Brussels and hosted by IPPF EN, which also serves as EuroNGOs fiscal agent.
